Garick Executive Receives California Association Board Position

(LA MESA, CA) Garick is proud to announce that John C. Gundlach, its Vice President of Sustainable Environmental and Energy Group, received the great honor of being elected to the Association of Compost Producers’ Board of Directors. The Association of Compost Producers (ACP) is a California non-profit organization dedicated to improving all aspects of compost. Gundlach received this appointment the beginning of October.

Gundlach joined the Garick team this July and leads a focused team of professionals in developing and implementing partnerships with public agencies and private industry, helping them manage organic waste streams towards a goal of self-sustainability and zero waste. This includes the creation of renewable bioenergy, biofuels, and bioproducts from organic waste streams.

Of his appointment, Gundlach said, “I am excited to continue in a leadership role with ACP. ACP is focused on doing the right thing by diverting organic wastes from landfills and expanding the markets for compost to beneficially improving soil health. It is an honor to be in a part of this progressive organization.”
